Hyderabad Football League

Brief & Objective – The Hyderabad Football league is one of the most recognized small/city leagues in the country. With more than 200 players and 2,50,000 followers every year. This league enjoys a legendary status in Hyderabad.

In 2017 – The league owners decided to rebrand the league. The objective was to present the league in a more youthful and relatable manner so as to get more audience and generate ticket sales

What we did –

  1. Rebranded the league – created a new logo with more youthful colours and design.
  2. Launched a league anthem featuring various celebrities and singers.
  3. Roped in Akhil Akkineni&BhaichungBhutia as league ambassador and league mentor respectively.
  4. Gave the stadiums a makeover with cheer-leaders, music performances, half-time entertainment acts and much more.
  5. Robust digital campaign for 6 months led to a lot of awareness through contests and ticket giveaways etc.
  6. PR launch – covered by all leading print and electronic media.

Achievements –

  • Ticket sales through on-ground and bookmyshow increased 250% over last year.
  • The league size increased from 8 teams to 12 teams in one year.
  • Over 60,000 likes on all social media pages.
